Detlef Neuhaus new Managing Director at the Stiebel Eltron Group
The Stiebel Eltron Group is expanding its management team: Detlef Neuhaus will be responsible for managing the German heat pump manufacturer together with Heinz-Werner Schmidt and the Chairman of the Management Board, Dr Kai Schiefelbein. "We are delighted that we have been able to recruit Detlef Neuhaus, a proven expert from the industry," says Dr Ulrich Stiebel, Chairman of the Supervisory Board.
Detlef Neuhaus will take up his new position on 2 January 2025. The 59-year-old knows the Stiebel Eltron Group well: he has been a member of the Supervisory Board since 2020. He resigned from this mandate at the end of 2024. His successor on the board is Kai Stiebel.
Detlef Neuhaus was Managing Director and co-partner of the Dresden-based photovoltaic provider Solarwatt until mid-2024. Prior to this, he held several positions in the heating industry, including twelve years at the Vaillant Group in various positions of responsibility.
"I'm looking forward to working with Detlef Neuhaus," says CEO Dr Kai Schiefelbein. "We have known each other since the early 2000s through our joint activities in the German Heat Pump Association, in which he was involved as a representative of Vaillant at the time." In his new role, Neuhaus will be responsible for areas including Human Resources, Product Management, Procurement and Marketing Communication.
